Young chesnut Sire (4yrs old @ 2008). Delights Wahid is already well over 15hh - tall, strong, scopey individual of Colonial & Crabbet lines. He is very well balanced, strong hind quarters, correct conformation, toughness & size. Still handsome despite a very serious face injury as a weanling (his nickname is 'Dent'). He has easy flowing movement similar to his half brother Delights DJ Zarif and a lovely calm, kind, cruisey and sensible temperament.

Wahid's first foals on the ground are a quality tall grey filly out of Delights Oracle, a colt from the same mare 2008 season, and she produced another lovely filly this year 09. Other foals sired are a very pretty grey filly ex Estrellita & elegant chesnut colt ex Estelle, plus an outstanding filly for Arahi Stud and a very sweet partbred for friends. Wahid has been very popular for outside mares and appeals to mare owners looking for an arabian outcross for a wide range of mare types and breeds. Endurance mares given preference.

Wahid is by 'Cyden Sun' (Ngapa Joussif x Ngapa Ayda) and is out of 'Rowallan Classic Sireen' (Wagga Ambassador x Sirena by Aethon). All top NZ & International endurance blood.

Ranaarb ~ an impressive chesnut horse with powerful movement, leaving tall, healthy, correct foals with superb temperaments (very friendly, cruisy, intelligent). Ranaarb is owned by Greg Prowse, Australia & is on lease to us.

Ranaarb is by Australian National Champion 'Rasham' who was by 'Greylight' (Bright Shadow x Royal Radiance) x 'Sparkle' (Shafreyn x Starflower). Greylight & Shafreyn are well known successful, respected bloodlines in Australian & NZ Endurance circles. Shafreyn sired horses such as 'Shalawi' winner of the first ever Australian Tom Quilty Endurance ride plus other successful competitors in Quilty rides etc.

Ranaarb's dam was Liquid Amber by Mutlak

(Indian Magic x Mifaria) x 'Electric Amber' (Electric Silver x Rissani). Mutlak and Electric Silver blood is well known and respected for producing top class Endurance & Performance progeny.

Ngapa Joussif was the very last colt by purebred Endurance sire Grey Swirl - Grey Swirl was by 'Electric Silver' by the lovely pure Crabbet stallion Raktha x Silfina. Dam of Grey Swirl was 'Grey Coronet' by Oran x Grey Royal.

Ngapa Joussif's dam Ngapa Maid was one of the best mares bred at Ngapa. She was by Cephalus (Sala x Sir Aatika by Sirdar by Shahzada) and out of Shermaid (Shereef x Gipsy Maid, also by the Shahzada son Sirdar). Photos & info about the amazing 1920's endurance horse Shahzada at bottom of page.

Exciting young 4yr old chesnut sire of Colonial & Crabbet bloodlines. Zarif is linebred to 'Ngapa Joussif' to retain and intensify Joussif's important type and endurance ability and he has definitely inherited many excellent qualities from his grandsire (on both sides) i.e. chiselled clean hard dry bone, lean flat muscling, fine skin & hair, refinement, easy flowing light very supple movement, and kind nature. He is over 15hh already.

His first seven foals are 5 top quality fillies and an outstanding colt (3 fillies & 1 colt for us and 2 fillies to outside mares). They are all tall, elegant, with beautiful straight clean legs, free moving, and all stamped with the same type - Photos left & on Foals page. Endurance mares given preference. As at October 2009 another tall elegant colt.

The amazing 1920's endurance horse 'Shahzada' at the start of the 1922 500 Mile Endurance Test (800kms over 5 days), Sussex, England, and below Winning the test.

Shahzada was imported from UK to Australia.

Shahzada is very prominent in the foundation bloodlines of our Arabian horses through his granddaughter 'Gipsy Maid'.

One of our mares 'Ngapa Star' is a granddaughter of Gipsy Maid. Most of the arab horses in our stud carry multiple crosses to Shahzada.
